The God of Holiness

On his second missionary journey, the Apostle Paul came to Corinth to preach the Word of God and established a church there. Now, just a few years later, he was receiving questioning letters and reports of problems. The church was troubled with division, lawsuits between believers, sexual sins, disorderly worship, and spiritual immaturity.

The Apostle Paul wrote his 1st letter to the Corinthians to correct them, answer their questions, and instruct them in several areas. He warned them not to be conformed to the world, but rather, to live as godly examples, reflecting godliness in the midst of an immoral society. This letter was intended to restore the Corinthian church to its foundation - Jesus Christ.

Today, as we continue our preaching series, let us hear from Pastor Mackie Rellama as he shares some of the issues that the Apostle Paul addressed with the Corinthian church as well as his instructions for them.
