God of Preparation

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our GOD, the LORD is One. You shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. Deuteronomy 6.4-6 ESV

The Hebrew word "Shema" means to listen or to hear but it is more than just the audio entering to our ears. It means to listen in order to obey or to pay serious attention.

In today's preaching we will shema on how the LORD GOD prepared the way for the new generation of Israel to inherit the land that was promised to their forefathers. As written James 1.22 NLT, "But don’t just listen to God’s Word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
