Sapat na sa kanya na ang mga babaeng kapatid na sina Martha and Mary ang maalab sa pagsisilbi kay Hesus. Si Lazarus ay isang tipikal na lalakeng may pag-aalinlangan sa pagpapakita sa kanyang pagmamahal sa Diyos.  Hanggang siya ay nakaranas nang muling pagkabuhay. Hanggang sa matanggap niya ang grasya ng Panginoon na Siyang bukod-tanging nakapagbigay sa kanya ng pangalawang pagkakataon.  Nagbago hindi lamang ang kanyang pananaw sa buhay at kamatayan, ganun din ang kanyang pagyakap sa regalo ng Diyos sa kalayaang makalapit sa Panginoon. The Book of Zechariah is set after the return of the exiles from Babylon to Jerusalem. Zechariah and Haggai (Read Ezra 5.1-2) challenged and motivated the people to rebuild the temple. The Prophet Jeremiah prophesied that the exile of Israel would last for 70 years (Jeremiah 25.1-14) and the LORD Almighty would restore His presence to a new temple and bring His kingdom and the rule of the Messiah over all the nations. As Zechariah encourages the people of Israel to rebuild the temple of the LORD, we see how God works to rebuild His people if they are faithful to the God of Israel and to their covenant. As we get to know more about the God of the Bible, may we experience His presence in our lives that He is rebuilding from ruins back to life.  Today is Youth Sunday!
